Summer Fresh! Crudite today

Summertime is Crudite Time!

Today I am posting the veggie platter I am taking to a Summer gathering of friends and family. Broccoli, mini carrots, celery, green beans, stuffed cherry tomatoes, and pita chips.
Stuffed cherry tomatoes are so simple to make:
1 pkg Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
1/2 c mayo
5 finely chopped Green Onions
1/2 c Fresh Parmesan Cheese
1/3c Crumbled Bacon fine chop
Mix ingredients, cut tomato top or make an X and fill with mixture. Chill apx 30 minutes to set filling

The dip/spread is family fave and very tasty if you like blue cheese and rosemary.

  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 8 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 c Gewürztraminer or any sweet white wine
  •  3/4 tsp crushed dry oregano tablespoon
  • 1/2 tsp finely chopped parsley
  • Mix and chill until needed.
